In a message to his team and fans, Odegaard wrote on his Instagram story: "Tough one to take for all of us...But we still have something beautiful to fight for. Let's lift each other up and we go again. Thanks for all the messages and all your support. Means a lot."

WHAT ODEGAARD SAID

Manager Mikel Arteta echoed Odegaard's sentiments and also emphasised the "beauty" of the upcoming opportunities in the Premier League."What we have ahead is beautiful," he said. "Six games and we are two points behind City. A busy schedule for everybody. We have to go through the pain tonight, and tomorrow get up, come with the same attitude that we came here and hopefully beat Wolves."

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Arsenal have a few tricky fixtures in their final six games including two London derbies against Chelsea and Tottenham, respectively. They will also host Bournemouth and Everton apart from making a trip to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United on May 12.
