Windy City Revolution

Real Upset
Real Salt Lake pulled off one of the biggest upsets in Major League Soccer history by beating the Columbus Crew in Crew Stadium. The hosts and Supporters' Shield winners took a 2-0 lead through Guillermo Barros Schelotto but RSL roared back with three unanswered goals.

Award Time
With the regular season snapped shut, it's award time for Major League Soccer. The teams will still duke it out for the Cup, but individual awards have already been decided. The league released the finalists for each position, with Donovan, Joseph, and Cunningham the final three for league MVP.

Return Trip
The news most already knew is now official, according to both the LA Galaxy and AC Milan: David Beckham will go back to Italy in January. Though currently with the Galaxy in the midst of the MLS playoffs, the midfielder aims for the loan to help him reach the World Cup with England.

Revs Burn Fire
The New England Revolution took the advantage by winning the first leg playoff match against the Chicago Fire. The visitors took the lead after some initial pressure, but the Revs fought back through goals by Osei and Joseph to win 2-1. Next week the pair head to Chicago for the second leg.

SuperClasico Stalemate
Defensive errors were rife in the last first leg playoff match of the 2009 MLS postseason. Chivas USA took an early lead through Maicon Santos, but had to fight back in the second half to secure a 2-2 draw. Mike Magee, Landon Donovan, and Maykel Galindo scored the other goals.
