The votes have been counted -- votes from fans, players, media, and coaches/general managers -- to decide the Major League Soccer All-Star First XI. A group of All-Stars, coached by Houston Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear, will face Everton in Rio Tinto Stadium on July 29.
Leading the voting was last year's league and MLS Cup final MVP Guillermo Barros Schelotto. He was followed most closely by nine-time All-Star Landon Donovan and Conor Casey, who led the scoring charts before departing for international duty.
On July 20, Kinnear and his staff will name supplemental players, and two selections by MLS commissioner Don Garber will round out the game-day 18 man roster.
