Mexicans Abroad: Light Weekend Overseas
As FIFA's international fixture halted league play for most places around the world, Mexicans Abroad too saw little action. But there a few exceptions, writes Goal.com's Andrea Martinez.

The final spots in South Africa 2010 were up for grabs this weekend, and as a result leagues across the world closed up shop. But there were some scattered matches played that featured some Mexicans Abroad, most notably in Spain's Copa Del Rey.
Spain
Rafael Marquez (Barcelona) - Marquez played all 90 minutes in the Copa del Rey game against Cultural Leonesa. Barcelona won 5-0.
Andres Guardado (Deportivo La Coruña) - Guardado did not play in the Copa del Rey 0-0 game against Murcia. He was in Mexico for the presentation of the new national team jersey.
Hugo Sanchez (Almeria) - Almeria was knocked out of the Copa del Rey with a 1-0 loss to Hercules.
Jonathan Dos Santos (Barca Atletic) - Dos Santos was on the field for 90 minutes for the 5-0 win over Cultural Leonesa in the Copa de Rey.
United States
Cuauhtemoc Blanco (Chicago Fire) - Chicago lost to Real Salt Lake in the Eastern Conference Final and missed out on a chance to play in MLS Cup. Blanco, who played all 120 minutes and scored in the penalty-kick shootout, saw his MLS career end.
Luis Angel Landin (Houston) - Landin came on in the 72nd minute and played the remainder of regulation and the entire overtime as Houston lost 2-0 to the LA Galaxy in the Western Conference Final.
Ecuador
Carlos Moran (Cuenca) - Moran wasn’t on the field as Cuenca qualified for their eighth Copa Libertadores after beating Olmedo 1-2. The team will also play in the finals in Ecuador.
Peru
Rodolfo Espinoza (Club Universitario de Deportes) - Espinoza stayed on the field until the 76th minute and received a yellow card in the 54th minute.
Emmanuel Cerda (Club Universitario de Deportes) - Cerda scored the second goal for his club in the 36th minute in the 4-0 win over Alianza Atletico. He played all 90 minutes.
Nathanial Revetria (Sport Ancash on loan from River, Uruguay) - Revetria did not play in the 1-0 loss to Inti Gas Deportivo.
Venezuela
Rodrigo Prieto (Caracas FC) - Prieto did not play in the 0-3 win over Real Esppor Club.
Colombia
Mario Garcia (Boyaca Chico FC) - Garcia played all 90 minutes as Boyaca Chico won 4-0 against Real Cartagena.
