Maradona: Atletico Madrid Must Invest Or Sergio Aguero Must Leave
The Albicelestes coach has warned the capital club not to adversely affect the development of the prodigious forward.

Argentina coach Diego Maradona has blasted Spanish Primera Division giants Atletico Madrid, insisting that they must invest in their squad or else allow star striker Sergio Aguero to leave the club.
Aguero, who is also Maradona’s son-in-law, has a contract at the Vicente Calderon until 2012 but major European sides such as Chelsea have been previously linked with a swoop for the 21-year old international.
Los Colchoneros have made a disastrous start to this campaign having already been eliminated from the Champions League and coach Abel Resino was swiftly replaced by former Valencia tactician Quique Sanchez Flores.
Maradona made his thought clear to Spanish publication Marca on the club’s predicament, commenting, “To make the best of [Sergio] Aguero’s qualities they [Atletico] must create a team worthy of him and sign some players.
“Otherwise, they must let him go and not harm his development as a player.”
'El Diego' also offered opinion on the great Lionel Messi–Cristiano Ronaldo debate, insisting that he rates the former more highly than the flying Portuguese winger.
He enthused, “Ronaldo did incredible things with Manchester United, but Messi wreaks more havoc.
“The ball is stuck to his foot!”
