Official: Besiktas Sign Rodrigo Tabata From Gaziantepspor

Champions League hopefuls Besiktas have strengthened their squad with attacking midfielder Rodrigo Tabata from Gaziantepspor for a reputed fee of €8 million.
Besiktas have been in the market for a new attacking midfielder ever since the opening of the transfer window, and linked with players such as Rafael van der Vaart and Simone Perrotta.
The Turkish giants have now finally found their man. The Brazilian midfielder has signed a three-year deal at Besiktas and will earn €1.5m-per-year.
The 28-year-old joined Gaziantepspor from Santos in the summer of 2008 and immediately impressed at his new club. He scored the winning goal in his official debut and went on to become a key player, thus attracting the interest of Besiktas.
Head coach Mustafa Denizli expressed his delight with the arrival of the midfielder during a press conference and made it clear that Tabata will play a key role in Besiktas' squad this term.
