Was Our Win
Following a somewhat unimpressive performance against Brazil in Qatar on Saturday, England captain John Terry said that the Three Lions would have won if they were at full strength. Without some of their best first team players, Fabio Capello's men were downed 1-0 by the Selecao.

Friendly Fire
Teams across the globe took advantage of the international date to set up friendlies and better fine-tune the squad with the World Cup looming. Xabi Alonso scored a brace to guide Spain past Argentina, Italy and Holland ground out a goalless draw, and Croatia whipped Liechtenstein.

Three Lions Tamed
Brazil exhibited a convincing performance against a depleted England side and defeated it 1-0 in the international friendly on Saturday evening. A Nilmar strike just two minutes into the second half was enough for Dunga's team to record a victory over one of the World Cup challengers.

Making A Name
Most of the biggest stars are ruled out of England's drool-worthy clash with Brazil. The ones left over will be looking to rise to the fore in the international friendly. Gareth Barry can't wait to test himself against Kaka and Wayne Rooney will get to try on the captain's armband for size.

Spanish Showdown
One of the most highly anticipated matches of the weekend will take place in Madrid where Spain will host Argentina. Goal.com has all the information you need to get ready for the match including a full preview and a rundown of the key battles to keep an eye on.

Robinho Ruled Out
Manchester City star Robinho ruled himself out of Brazil's clash with England, becoming the latest in a long list of scratches for international matches over the weekend. The little striker did say that he may be fit for the next Brazil match and he will be with the team.

Out Of Action
Several top players have pulled out of international duty this week with minor or major injuries. Aside from Cristiano Ronaldo not being available for Portugal, Frank Lampard will miss England's match with Brazil and Arjen Robben will miss Holland's tie with Italy.
