Has Sead Ramovic thrown his hat into the ring for the Kaizer Chiefs coaching job with his post-match comments?

After TS Galaxy drew 2-2 with Kaizer Chiefs in a PSL match on Tuesday night, the German coach proceeded to his post-match interview duties with SuperSport. After praising his own players for their efforts in playing five matches in the last 15 days, Ramovic turned his attentions to the 'beautiful club' that was his opponents.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Ramovic has already indulged in a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-za/lists/revealed-ts-galaxy-s-sead-ramovic-shares-details-of-x-rated-phone-call-with-mamelodi-sundowns-coach-rhulani-mokwena/blt28950746ca65ed2c" target="_blank">public slanging match with Sundowns' Rhulani Mokwena</a> and is not shy to say what he is thinking in media interviews.So it was a little strange that he chose to heap praise on Kaizer Chiefs and the club's supporters, especially after a match that ended his team's faint hopes of Caf Confederation Cup qualification and saw his club fail to beat an opponent who were reduced to 10-men for the whole second half of the contest.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

After the match the German coach told SuperSport TV: "I want to congratulate this beautiful, amazing club Chiefs, very strong team and I hope they will come back even stronger because Chiefs actually belongs in the top three and I think in the future they will do the things better because this is a quality club [with] beautiful supporters.”

WHAT RAMOVIC SAID

Ramovic was a goalkeeper in his playing days and was on the books of several well-known Bundesliga teams such as VfL Wolfsburg and Borussia Monchengladbach.He retired in May 2014 after a brief stint with Norwegian club Strømsgodset.Despite being born in Stuttgart, Germany, Ramovic was called up to the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team in 2004 but never earned an official international cap.
