"The tremendous enthusiasm the supporters are demonstrating in Beijing in recent days for Inter will be a great boost of morale to the squad," Cordoba suggested to the Corriere dello Sport.
Meanwhile, team-mate Marco Materazzi has warned his side not to underestimate the Biancocelesti, who won the Coppa Italia last season, defeating Milan, Juventus and Sampdoria on their way to the trophy.
"Lazio are a formidable opponent, especially in attack, and they will be motivated to win the Supercoppa. Inter are coming here to win this trophy, which would be their fourth in recent history," 'Matrix' explained.
The Milanese giants have won three of the last four competitions, and this will be their fifth appearance in the Supercoppa in succession.
This is the not the first time the competition has been played on a foreign soil, with the match being held in Libya in 2002, and in the United States in 1993 and 2003.
