The Frenchman previously announced his decision to bring an end to his successful spell at Juventus next summer, but opened the door to a sensational rethink at the weekend after marking his first start of the season with a goal against Roma.
“For a player the first thing is to feel happy in his mind,” the player’s representative, Antonio Caliendo, said to Calciomercato.it.
“Should he feel happy in Turin at the end of the season, I think it is possible he will stay. What is for sure is that should he say goodbye to Juve, David will go back home to France, where he wants to take care of his family along with his wife.
“As confirmed by [Didier] Deschamps, he is too expensive for Marseille, but if Monaco want him, he would be happy to go back there.”
Caliendo also represents the interests of Inter right-back Maicon, who lashed out at a section of the booing San Siro crowd on Sunday, but the agent played down the incident.
“Maicon is a leader of this team and one of the most important men for Inter,” he said.
