Inter's clash against Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League could be postponed due to the spread of swine flu in the Ukraine, according to prime minister Yulia Timoshenko on Friday.
The H1NI influenza has put the game which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 4 at risk. The Ukrainian authorities have a number of measures in place to help curb the spread of the virus, but they could take further action and cancel the game.
"Everything that relates to football competitions will be evaluated through consultations and discussions," Timoshenko is quoted as saying in La Repubblica.
There have been 11 deaths in the Ukraine which have been linked to swine flu and the authorities have postponed major events in the country for three weeks. The measures could see the game being affected.
The Nerazzurri are currently bottom of their group, one point behind Dynamo who are in second.
