Sporting Clube de Portugal have earmarked a place in their squad for the arrival of Inter flop Ricardo Quaresma during the next transfer window.
According to Portuguese daily A Bola, Sporting have laid eyes on him and they are keen to open up negotiations with the Italian club.
The report claims a loan deal would be the best way forward for the winger. Quaresma has hardly played under Jose Mourinho this term. At best he has been a peripheral figure in the squad.
It is said Quaresma is desperate to play regular football in order to help him guarantee a place for the World Cup should Portugal qualify from their second leg play-off match against Bosnia.
