Silvio Berlusconi has no plans to sell Milan to wealthy investors, according to his son Pier Silvio.
Back in October, reports in Italy claimed negotiations were taking place with Albanian oil magnate Rezart Taci.
Taci confirmed he was interested in doing business with the club and rubbed shoulders with the Milan chiefs. There was also talk about involvement from Libyan leader colonel Muammar Al-Gaddafi. Milan denied the rumours, but the voices are still whispering.
However, Mediaset president Pier Silvio Berlusconi has now stepped in to try to silence the chatter, claiming his father has no intention of selling.
"I am not responsible for Milan, but as a fan I hope it stays in my father's hands. I don't think he has any plans to sell," Berlusconi told the press in Monte Carlo during a Mediaset promotion campaign.
Milan clash with Cagliari this weekend.
