A stunning 3-2 win over Champions League hopefuls Fiorentina saw the Ducali leap into fourth place.
Parma are 14 matches into the campaign following their promotion from Serie B. Some pundits have declared the club's rise a marvel, but the coach has rejected such assertions.
"This is not a Guidolin miracle. It's just the will to emerge with an ambitious club, a young and committed president and an expert sporting director, as well as my work with the lads," Guidolin told Radio Anchio Lo Sport.
"We don't want to be labelled as a revolutionary squad, but one who knows how to play good football.
"We have changed much compared to last season. We have a great squad too. Parma already know what big European football is all about. Ten years ago they were one of the strongest teams in Europe.
"We have a project here and I want to stay for the long term."
