Bologna 1-3 Inter
Jose Mourinho's Inter continued to show why they are such a dominant force in Italy. The win over Bologna saw them score their 102 second goal in Serie in 51 matches under the 'Special One'. Diego Milito's goal takes him up to 31 in Serie A. It was his first goal against Bologna, taking his tally to eight goals for the season.
The Beneamata have scored 32 this term, meaning they have the best attack. Marcelo Zalayeta scored for the home side, his fourth against the Nerazzurri, having previously scored against them with Juventus and twice with Napoli. Mario Balotelli was also on target for his side, as he took his tally up to four. Esteban Cambiasso scored his second of the campaign, taking his total for the club up to 22. The Emiliani have not beat Inter in seven years.
Fiorentina 2-3 Parma
Alberto Gilardino's double strike against Parma means he is now on 119 goals in the league. Incredibly, the former Parma man has 16 braces to his name, four of which have come in a Viola jersey.
It wasn't enough, though, as the Ducali's dream start continues. The win sees Francesco Guidolin's men in the European places. Veteran striker Nicola Amoruso's goal took his goal haul up to 109. Valeri Bojinov scored his 26th goal in Italy - his first against Fiorentina. Davide Lanzafame's winner was his second in as many games. Parma hadn't won at the Artemio Franchi in seven years, when they emerged 2-1 victors thanks to a double from Marco Di Vaio. Current Flamengo striker Adriano had hit the Gigliati's in that match. Viola coach Cesare Prandelli has never beaten Guidolin in nine attempts, losing seven and drawing twice.
Livorno 2-1 Genoa
It was a week of goalscoring records and Cristiano Lucarelli's 111th goal saw his name added to the hotlist.
Milan 4-3 Cagliari
Clarence Seedorf opened the scoring to grab his second goal of the season, having bagged one already against Bologna. He has hit the net 49 times in Italy's top-flight. Marco Borriello scored his 34th goal in Serie A. Alexandre Pato was ever present and he got his 30th, his first against Cagliari. He has scored six in 13 games.
Ronaldinho's penalty goal was his fourth from the spot. Alessandro Matri scored for Cagliari, his 17th in Serie A, and fourth consecutive goal. Rossoblu midfielder Andrea Lazzarri fired his second of 2009/10. The Rossoneri hadn't scored four in a game in over 7 months prior to this result. Cagliari have not beaten Milan in 11 years. The last time they did was in 1998, when they won 1-0.
Napoli 0-0 Lazio
Plenty of action was expected in this match, but fans were left disappointed on the goal front. Napoli have not won against Lazio in 13 years. You have to go right back to 1996, when they won 1-0. Since then, they have drawn three and lost three. The Aquilotti continue to struggle. They have not won since week two. Since then they have lost five and drawn six.
Palermo 1-1 Catania
This game made the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Palermo sacked Walter Zenga less than 24 hours after the derby di Sicilia. Former Lazio boss Delio Rossi replaces him. While there was nothing to write home about from the statistics on the pitch, the ones off them paint a different story. Rosanero president Maurizio Zamparini has now sacked 28 coaches since his tenure at the club. Giulio Migliaccio's opener took his tally to six goals in the peninsula's top division. His last goal came against Lazio in May. Martinez's equaliser means his personal best is up to 16. It was his third goal against Palermo.
Roma 3-1 Bari
Marcello Lippi seriously needs to reconsider taking Francesco Totti to South Africa. After a 49 day absence from action due to a cocktail of injuries, the captain stormed back to the pitch and bagged himself a hat-trick. The goals means he reaches Antonio Di Natale on nine for the season. Including the Europa League, Totti has scored a mega 18 goals in just 13 games. He has scored 10 times in nine games against the Galletti. Curiously six of those have all been scored in November. His Serie A career haul has reached 187, one short of the legendary Signori. The last time 'Er Pupone' scored a hat-trick was against Brescia in 2002. Despite conceding three in a game for the first time, Bari still have the best defence in Serie A, though they have never won at the Olimpico, drawing seven and losing 24. Roma have conceded 21 goals this term, they are the only team in the league yet to keep a clean sheet.
Sampdoria 2-1 Chievo Verona
'Doria defender Marco Rossi sent his side towards victory by scoring his third goal for the club. Giampaolo Pazzini has now hit 47 goals in Serie A, taking his personal tally to eight this term. Chievo's Andrea Mantovani caused some controversy, as he handled ball before turning it in. It was his second of the campaign, equalling his tally for last season's turbulent run. It was an emotional game for Samp coach Luigi Del Neri, his fifth against former team Chievo. It was his first win, after drawing three and losing once to the Flying Donkeys as an opponent.
Siena 0-2 Atalanta
Atalanta's Simone Tiribocchi scored his 31st goal since making his debut in the top flight on September 9th 2001 for Torino. Having scored against Chievo, Milan, Udinese and Parma, he has scored five so far in 856 minutes of football. Robert Aquafresca finally broke his duck after grabbing the winner. It was his first goal for the Orobici since his summer move there from Cagliari via Genoa.
Juventus 1-0 Udinese
This was Juve 1000th league win since the club was born in 1900, excluding the season spent in Serie B, but it includes the league that was formed during the war years. They have drawn 322 games in Turin, losing 160. The winner came from Fabio Grosso, who scored his first ever goal for Juventus and his 11th in Serie A. The last time he hit the net in Italy was for Inter in 2007, when they beat Catania in Sicily. 11 different players have scored for Juve this term, equalling the Nerazzurri who share the same record.
