Roma defender John Arne Riise is being followed by German club Werder Bremen, and he could move to there in the summer.

According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, the Bundesliga club have made an official enquiry regarding the player's availability. The Norwegian left-back has been tipped to leave the club since the summer. His current contract expires in 2012, and it is said the Italian side are open to offers.

Roma have been reportedly looking at Liverpool defender Andrea Dossena as Riise's eventual replacement. The Italian is widely expected to return to Serie A in January after failing to settle in England. Napoli are also on the lookout for Dossena.

Despite the report, none of the clubs have added their voices to the claims.
