The 26-year-old winger suffered a straining of his ligament in his knee, but will not require surgery.
He will though, not be available for Jose Mourinho to select, when the Beneamata take on bitter rivals Juventus in the Derby d'Italia, and Rubin Kazan, in the final Champions League group match.
"The player does not need to have surgery to correct the injury," a statement from the club said on UEFA.com.
"From tomorrow, the player will undergo rehabilitation."
Inter are currently on top of the domestic table on 35 points from 14 matches, and in second place in Group F in the Champions League on 8 points.
