According to the latest reports from AFP, Juve may very well have achieved their wish, as it looks as if Mellberg will be playing his football with Olympiakos next season.
The Swedish international has reportedly agreed a three-year deal with the Greek outfit, and is set to officially be presented as a player of the club on Monday.
The reports go on to suggest that the Old Lady have accepted an offer of around €2.7million for the defender, which puts an end to the rumours surrounding a possible return to the Premier League for the 31-year-old.
Mellberg managed to make 27 appearances for the Bianconeri in his one and only season, whilst he also scored twice along the way.
