Sporting Gijon coach Manolo Preciado declared himself happy with a point from a match that he described as an "enjoyable" one, in a 1-1 draw against Deportivo La Coruna at the Riazor.

Sporting had to come from behind after Niouoi Lassad gave the hosts a first half lead, but Diego Castro levelled things shortly after the interval for the visitors.

"I enjoyed the game on the bench. We were not very bright, but the game was competitive. No one is bored. It was a battle with heart and tremendous desire to win. We got a draw at a very difficult venue. Sevilla lost here recently," he told a press conference afterwards, who also praised the Depor fans.

"This support here is unique, and it is a great example for Spanish football. It is a unique support and they should be proud. A magnificent example. And there was not one quiet minute in the 93 minutes played. It was pretty impressive."
