The 29-year-old Spain international stated recently that he wants to leave Turkish football and felt that moving to the Super Lig with Fenerbahce was a mistake.
Villarreal and Atletico have been tipped by Cadena SER to make their interest concrete in January as they speculate that bids will be lodged.
Despite believing that it was the wrong move for him, Guiza has been popular in Turkey as he has netted 16 goals in 36 appearances for Fener.
A drought in front of goal that only ended in March saw question marks about his ability raised and his form has also seen him superceded in the Spain squad by Alvaro Negredo.
In order to regain his place in Vicente del Bosque's side and to revitalise his career, Guiza now wants to return to Spain and would welcome talks with either El Submarino or Atleti.
Guiza is married to former model and current FIFA agent Nuria Bermudez and the couple have a child who they want to raise in Spain.
