"We are going to the Camp Nou to attack," he declared to Marca.
"We will use our weapons, which are different to those of Barcelona, but they are as good as theirs."
The former Villarreal coach also believes that los Merengues are as good a side as the treble winners, and they will try to show that on Sunday.
"Barca are a great team, they aren't just Xavi, [Andres] Iniesta and [Lionel] Messi. Pep Guardiola's side plays good football and have a lot of quality, but they are not superior to us. We won't go out for the draw against Barca. We know what we have to do in the Camp Nou."
Pellegrini added that he has been preparing for el Clasico all week and is hopeful that Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays a key part in los Blancos' tactics, will be able to feature for as long as possible.
"We have spent all week planning our strategy. Real Madrid are playing well, not for 90 minutes, but we are playing good matches.
"There isn't a set amount of time that Cristiano can play for in the Camp Nou. We will see how long he plays for. The Portuguese is an irreplaceable player."
