"It's about time that we were finally rewarded for our efforts with a win. I'm absolutely convinced that we will have more luck in Furth than we have had recently," head coach Markus Babbel told the press.
"For us there can be only one target - making it at least into the quarter-finals of the competition. However, Greuther Furth possess a great deal of potential, which they have displayed regularly in the league
"So far we haven't had things easy in the DFB Pokal but I am sure that in Furth the team will take a large step closer to the DFB Pokal final in Berlin."
Babbel will have to again make do without the services of Cacau (muscle sinew tear), Georg Niedermeier (ligament damage), Sami Khedira (foot injury) and Martin Lanig (therapy following cruciate ligament tear).
