Bayern Munich's Italian forward Luca Toni will have to watch the upcoming Bundesliga clash against Hannover from the stands after head coach Louis van Gaal decided to leave him out of the FCB squad.

Van Gaal has not taken kindly to the latest round of criticism levelled at him by the Italian striker, who appears to be paving the way for a move away from the club this winter.

And the tough-minded Dutchman appears to be only too happy to help the 32-year-old leave.

"I have problems with players who do not conform to the normal requirements of a player of Bayern Munich, and that is Toni," Van Gaal said at a press conference on Friday.

As far as the coach is concerned, the issue has now been dealt with once and for all and there is going to be no way back into the squad for the Italian.

"You can ask me every week, but I am not going to answer anymore," added the former AZ coach.
