Speaking to KickOff.com after being presented with the Man of the Match Award following their 2-0 win over Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns star player, Elias Pelembe says he was happy with the way the team was playing.
“It is tough in the League this season, but if we can play like this then our chances will improve greatly. We have been playing very well as a team and we are working very hard at training to achieve what we are achieving now,” he said.
The former SuperSport United player said that it is part of football that they draw some and win some, but adds that he does not like to lose.
In yesterday’s game Pelembe created both goals, one in each half. The first one came from a set piece while the second one followed a good cross to substitute Benedict Vilakazi.
“We have been playing well of late, but we have not really been scoring. We have won here, lost there and sometimes drawn but now we just want to win all the games,” Pelembe added.
