Earlier this week, we asked the readers to vote on the fate of Egypt and Algeria with the crunch World Cup qualification play-off looming.
The sides meet this evening in Sudan to decide who will be the final African representative at South Africa next summer.
Egypt won by the required two-goal margin against Les Fennecs on Saturday to prompt this showdown which has all of Africa talking.
The readers unanimously favour the Pharaohs, reigning continental champions, to overcome their old adversaries and stake a claim in the world's premier competition.
