Arsenal's link with Italy continues as AC Milan apparently maintain an interest in Emmanuel Adebayor, despite that saga being judged to be all but over. In doing so, they apparently want a part-exchange with none other than the prodigal son, Mathieu Flamini!
Across north London, Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has apparently put a price on all but three of his players - namely Jonathan Woodgate, Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe - as he looks to rebuild from the ground up. A signing for the forward position could be Athletic Bilbao's highly-rated youngster, Fernando Llorente.
Other Prem news includes a link between Gelson Fernandes and Bolton Wanderers from Manchester City; and Carlos Tevez angrily stating that he would be no traitor if he joins the Citizens from United. And Samuel Eto'o has been the latest forward to be named as Tevez's potential successor at Old Trafford (Michael Owen notwithstanding.)
Liverpool 'keeper Pepe Reina, meanwhile, has stated that Tevez should have considered a move to Merseyside for ambitious reasons, as opposed to a financial switch to City - a charge he levels against Gareth Barry as well.
One player who allegedly will remain at Anfield is Xabi Alonso. The Real Madrid target is apparently now out of the Spanish giants' reach.
But there will be further movements to come at the Santiago Bernabeu, where president Florentino Perez is to preside over a massive exodus of unwanted players. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, only in the capital since January, could be one of these - but he'd only leave for a fee, and not on loan.
Speaking of players unwanted, David Trezeguet at Juventus is apparently either going to head to Lyon or simply sit on the bench, according to his agent. And Christian Poulsen, who is struggling to fit in in Turin, could rejoin former club Schalke.
Barcelona are apparently set to deploy a mammoth bid for Valencia pair David Villa and Juan Mata; Luis Fabiano allegedly wishes to leave Sevilla for AC Milan; Mark Gonzalez is likely to join Olympiacos from Betis; and Inter continue to chase Chelsea pair Deco and Ricardo Carvalho.
