Tunisia Coach Humberto Coelho Taking Mozambique Seriously
Humberto Coelho has warned his players about the risks of underestimating the Mozambicans who nearly beat Nigeria in Maputo in their first qualifier.

In a press conference held today, Tunisian national team coach
Humberto Coelho admitted that Mozambique were far from pushovers and that it
would be difficult for his team to beat them despite the fact that his side are
playing at home.
“They have very good players. We need to press them and not allow them to develop their game. They attack with three, four, or even five players at a time. Their captain, Montero, has to be watched closely. Concentration, a strong mentality, and tactical application will be very important. We need to be present on all levels. This isn’t a friendly,” explained the Portuguese trainer.
Coelho was accompanied by four national team players who all echoed his sentiments and expressed their admiration for the Mozambicans who could easily have won their opening encounter versus the Super Eagles.
The North Africans are intent on not repeating the mistakes committed by former coach Roger Lemerre in the previous round of qualifiers where the Frenchman’s inadequate choices led to the Carthage Eagles being shocked by visiting Burkina Faso, who ended up topping the group.
