Nigeria defeated Korea 3-1 at a jammed Jerry Esuene Stadium in Calabar on Monday night to set up a rematch with Spain, who they beat two years ago to win the FIFA Under-17 World Cup.
The Eaglets will face Spain in Thursday's semi-final at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.
After sustained pressure, the host nation shot ahead after 23 minutes through midfielder Ramon Azeez, who fired home an unstoppable canon from inside the box, which gave goalkeeper Kim Jin-Young no chance.
However, the subdued Koreans equalised against the run of play in the 40th minute through Son Heung-Min, whose long distance shot caught the Nigeria goalkeeper Dami Paul out of position.
Five minutes into the second half, Abdul Ajagun netted his second goal of the tournament with a dipping shot from the edge of the penalty box.
The Asians fought back, but with five minutes left on the clock, hard working Terry Envoh made the game safe for the defending champions with a simple tap-in after Edafe Egbedi had rescued a loose ball from rolling out of out of play.
It was sweet revenge for the young Nigerians who had lost 2-0 to the Koreans at an invitational tournament in Dubai in April.
