Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has been rewarded for his outstanding stewardship of the Red Devils over the last few weeks by receiving his 23rd Manager of the Month award.
United have lost only two of their last 23 league matches, and have looked indomitable as they have surged to the top of the table and look almost certain to hang onto their place as leaders, after blips at home to Liverpool and away at Fulham.
The Player of the Month title has been handed to Arsenal forward Andrey Arshavin, whose vibrant displays in recent weeks have illuminated the Premier League, with his netting of all of the Gunners goals in their 4-4 thriller with Liverpool at Anfield providing a highlight not just of the last month but of the whole season.
Any doubts that followers of the English game may have had about the Russian's ability to adapt to the physical challenge of the Premier League have been well and truly laid to rest, as the diminutive maestro's skills, fitness and, most crucially, sheer will to succeed have impressed all who have seen anything of his Gunners displays.
