On loan since the summer with Arles-Avignon, Andre Ayew plans to leave Olympique Marseille in June. However, the Phocaean club do not want to lose the Ghanaian international striker.

The recent under-20 world champion told L'Equipe on Tuesday about his plans for the future:

"I consider that OM gave me the authorization to leave when they loaned me again in August. I am ambitious, I have not regressed in terms of my technical level in the game, I want to play the African Cup of Nations and the World Cup 2010."

Nonetheless, the 19-year-old is under contract with Marseille until June 2011 and the club consider him an important component for the future.

"He is not transferable. Unless we receive an exceptional offer, he must return to the squad in June, " replied the sporting director, Jose Anigo.

An offer of a contract extension together with a substantial revaluation might help moderate the departure desires expressed by 'Dede'.
