FIFA 18 cover star and Real Madrid No.7 Cristiano Ronaldo has been named the best player on the new game ahead of its release.
EA Sports has unveiled its top 100 players over the past week, with Bernardo Silva kicking off the rankings in 100th place before Ronaldo's 94 overall rating was revealed on Monday.
He is closely followed by Lionel Messi at 93 overall, while Neymar, Luis Suarez and Manuel Neuer bag 92 ratings.

Below is the list of the top 100 players on FIFA 18 in full and their stats as they will be seen on Ultimate Team when the new title hits the shelves on September 29.

Now 34 years old, Dani Alves takes a one-point decrease from 85 down to 84 after switching Juventus for Paris Saint-Germain.
96. MARCO ASENSIO | Real Madrid
Marco Asensio is up from 82 to 84. The way he is playing at the minute, he won't be staying at this rating for long.
95. FALCAO | Monaco
Falcao returns to the top 100 on the back of an excellent season with Monaco. He earned a one-point increase to 82 on FIFA 17 and is now all the way up to 84.
94. MAURO ICARDI | Inter
Mauro Icardi was boosted from 82 to 84 on FIFA 17 and remains at that number for FIFA 18.
93. DELE ALLI | Tottenham
Tottenham wonderkid Dele Alli is up two points from 82 to 84. He was rated at 80 when FIFA 17 was released and will likely continue to rise.
92. BERND LENO | Bayer Leverkusen
Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno takes a small hit for FIFA 18, dropping from 86 overall to 85. It's still enough for a place in the top 100.
91. CLAUDIO MARCHISIO | Juventus
Claudio Marchisio drops from 86 overall to 85 for FIFA 18. He is now 31 years old and was not always an automatic starter for Juventus by the end of 2016-17.
90. STEPHANE RUFFIER | Saint-Etienne
Stephane Ruffier has played all 38 league games in each of his five seasons at Saint-Etienne. That consistency keeps him at 85 overall despite his relatively low profile.
89. ILKAY GUNDOGAN | Manchester City
Ilkay Gundogan keeps his 85 overall rating for FIFA 18. Stay fit, and he could be a candidate for an increase.
88. DANIJEL SUBASIC | Monaco
Danijel Subasic went from 83 to 84 on FIFA 17 and is now up to 85 overall after keeping goal for Monaco en route to the Champions League semi-finals.
87. RAPHAEL VARANE | Real Madrid
Raphael Varane has established himself as a regular in the Real Madrid defence and gets a one-point increase from 84 to 85 overall.
86. KAMIL GLIK | Monaco
Another player to benefit from Monaco's Champions League run, Kamil Glik started FIFA 17 rated 83 overall but is now up to 85.
85. ANDREA BARZAGLI | Juventus
Having celebrated his 36th birthday in May, Andrea Barzagli drops from 86 overall to 85. He remains a superb defender despite his advancing years, though.
84. VINCENT KOMPANY | Manchester City
Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany comes down from 86 overall to 85. He'll need to stay fit to boost his rating back up.
83. HENRIKH MKHITARYAN | Manchester United
Henrikh Mkhitaryan's rating remains steady at 85 overall. He was available as an in-form card on a number of occasions last season and if he keeps it up, a permanent rise could follow.
82. YANNICK CARRASCO | Atletico Madrid
Yannick Carrasco was bumped up from 82 to 84 on FIFA 17 and is now up to 85 as one of the world's top wingers.
81. MARC-ANDRE TER STEGEN | Barcelona
Now firmly established as Barcelona's No.1, Marc-Andre ter Stegen jumps above a few goalkeepers from 83 overall to 85.

Another solid season at left-back for Felipe Luis keeps his overall rating steady at 85, while his High Work Rate will help him build attacks from the back and get up the pitch in FIFA 18.
77. LORENZO INSIGNE | Napoli
Lorenzo Insigne keeps improving in FIFA, having had an 81 rated basic edition in FIFA 16 and starting at 83 in FIFA 17. His return of 18 goals in Serie A last season sees him get another increase.
76. CESAR AZPILICUETA | Chelsea
Cesar Azpilicueta gets an increase of one overall point on last year, but most notable is his position change from left-back to centre-back following his Premier League title win in Antonio Conte's 3-5-2 system.
75. MIRALEM PJANIC | Juventus
Having had a Ones-To-Watch version in FIFA 17, Miralem Pjanic retains his 85 rating in FIFA 18 after his debut season since joining Juventus from Roma.
74. JORDI ALBA | Barcelona
Jordi Alba's 93 pace makes him one of the quickest full-backs in FIFA 18, but despite his pace staying the same, his overall rating has gone down one point from 86 last year.
73. KEYLOR NAVAS | Real Madrid
Having been just 79-rated two years ago in FIFA 16, Keylor Navas' fantastic spell as Real Madrid's first choice has seen him once again come in with an 85 overall rating in FIFA 18.
72. BLAISE MATUIDI | Juventus
Blaise Matuidi is a new arrival at Juventus, having signed from PSG in the summer for a transfer fee of up to €30.5 million and that is reflected in his 85 overall rating this year.
71. CASEMIRO | Real Madrid
Casemiro just keeps getting better and better for Real Madrid. That is reflected in his FIFA 18 score. Back in FIFA 13, he was a silver player with a 72 rating, but after scoring in the 2017 Champions League final, he is now rated 85.
70. ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE | Arsenal
Arsenal's new striker had all the attributes that made Arsene Wenger splash out over £46m to sign him from Lyon, and his excellent pace, shooting and dribbling stats are sure to make FIFA 18 managers want him too!
69. MIRANDA | Inter Milan
Miranda retains his 86 rating from last year, having become an integral part of the Inter Milan defence over the past two seasons following his transfer from Atletico Madrid.
68. PEPE | Besiktas
Pepe's move to Besiktas from Real Madrid gives the Turkish Super Lig a highly-rated defender both in real life and in FIFA 18. The Euro 2016 winner was rated 88 last year, but his 86 rated version will still prove extremely popular.
67. DAVID ALABA | Bayern Munich
David Alaba has long been regarded as the best left-back in the Bundesliga, and his FIFA 18 rating reflects that. It is a slight decline on last year's 87, but he retains his 86 pace score.
66. PETR CECH | Arsenal
Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech receives an 86 rating this season, having kept 12 clean sheets in the 2016-17 Premier League season. Only four goalkeepers had more during the campaign.
65. JAVI MARTINEZ | Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich's brilliant backline contains a large number of highly rated players, including Spain international Javi Martinez, who sees his overall rating improve to 86 in FIFA 18.
64. MARCO REUS | Borussia Dortmund
Former FIFA cover star Marco Reus remains one of the highest rated players in the game, even after playing just 17 Bundesliga games last season due to injury. His four-star weak foot will keep him in demand.
63. DIEGO COSTA | Chelsea
Diego Costa may not be getting gametime at Chelsea, but his 86 overall rating in FIFA 18 as well as a high physical rating of 88 will surely see him included in many Premier League and hybrid squads.
62. SOKRATIS | Borussia Dortmund
Greece international Sokratis has received an improved rating every season since joining Borussia Dortmund. His FIFA 18 version is 86 rated and has a pace score of 78, which is much higher than most central defenders in the game.
61. FRANCK RIBERY | Bayern Munich
Like last year, Franck Ribery has gained an 86 overall rating, but it is his five-star skill moves and four-star weak foot combination that will surely increase his value and usefulness in FIFA 18.

Benzema will turn 30 in December and takes a one-point decrease to his overall rating, with his pace suffering the most noticeable hit (three points).
55. CESC FABREGAS | Chelsea
He may not always be a starter, but Fabregas played an important role in Chelsea's title triumph and his 86 rating is unchanged.
54. ISCO | Real Madrid
Isco climbs from 84 to 86 overall after a brilliant end of the 2016-17 campaign. The way he's going at the minute, he could rise further very soon.
53. HARRY KANE | Tottenham
Kane enjoyed a one-point boost in the FIFA 17 ratings refresh and gets another for FIFA 18 to take him up to 86 overall.
52. ALEX SANDRO | Juventus
Alex Sandro nearly left Juventus this summer in a big-money move and his rise is reflected in a two-point increase to his overall rating.
51. PHILIPPE COUTINHO | Liverpool
Barca were willing to pay huge money for Coutinho but that has not persuaded EA to push his FIFA 17 rating of 86 overall up any further.

Inter stopper Handanovic preserves his status as one of the best goalkeepers in the game by retaining his 87 overall rating.

Barcelona's midfield maestro Iniesta is down one point from his 88 rating on FIFA 17 as he begins to show the first signs of age.

His third season at Barca was not as good as his first two but Rakitic nevertheless keeps his 87 overall rating.

7. SERGIO RAMOS | Real Madrid
Real Madrid icon Ramos is up a point to 90 overall and overtakes Bayern Munich's Jerome Boateng to be named FIFA 18's best defender.
6. ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI | Bayern Munich
The goals continue to flow for Lewandowski. He netted 43 in 47 games last season and is boosted by one point, retaining his status as the second-best pure centre forward on FIFA.
5. MANUEL NEUER | Bayern Munich
Neuer keeps his 92 rating and remains unmatched among goalkeepers, with David de Gea, his closest challenger, still two points behind him.
4. LUIS SUAREZ | Barcelona
Despite not being quite as prolific last season as he was in a sensational 2015-16, Suarez remains FIFA's top striker at 92 overall - though Neymar has jumped above him.
3. NEYMAR | PSG
Neymar keeps his 92 rating and with 92 pace and five-star weak foot and skill moves attributes to boot, he should be one of the most unplayable forwards in the game.
2. LIONEL MESSI | Barcelona
It's second place once again for Messi. He keeps his 93 overall rating to stay clear of Neymar and Suarez, but has not wrestled the top honour from this year's cover star.
1. CRISTIANO RONALDO | Real Madrid
Few will be surprised to see Ronaldo named FIFA's best player once again.
The Real Madrid star looks set to claim a fifth Ballon d'Or and will appear on the cover of this year's game. He has also been written into the storyline of Alex Hunter's career in The Journey.
