LIVE Stream: Celtic v Lazio

The 2019-20 season of the UEFA Europa League is rumbling on. Celtic are set to host Lazio in the third group stage clash.

The hosts are top of the standings in Group E with four points from their first two matches. They started off their group stage campaign with a draw against Rennes. It was a game which they finished with 10 men as Vakoun Issouf Bayo received marching orders in injury time. It was a lacklustre display by both teams, with goals from the penalty spot by Mbaye Niang and Ryan Christie forcing the teams to share the spoils.

Celtic's won their next game 2-0 against CFR Cluj, Odsunne Edouard and Mohamed Elyounoussi coming up with goals.

Lazio have just one win in their kitty and are third in the group. The Italian side were beaten by CFR Cluj 1-2 in their first game. Simone Inzaghi's team then picked up a 2-1 win against Rennes at home, with Milinkovic-Savic and Ciro Immobile getting on the scoresheet.

Lazio have never faced Scottish opponents in a UEFA competition. And as for Celtic, they don't have a proud record against Italian teams in Europe, having won just five times in 25 face-offs. Having missed out on a chance to play in the Champions League following an exit in the third qualifying round, the Scottish champions will out to make amends in the Europa League this term.
