Crystal Palace have announced the signing of Eddie Nketiah in a £30 million move from Arsenal. WHAT HAPPENED?

With opportunities scarce at Mikel Arteta's Arsenal, a move to Selhurst Park affords Nketiah the opportunity for regular first-team football. The striker had hoped to establish himself as the Gunners' starting striker, but he only started 10 games in the Premier League last season as Kai Havertz became Arteta's preferred choice.

"It's amazing to sign for Crystal Palace – I'm excited to get going. Every time I come back to South London, it always puts a smile on my face, so it’s good to be back home," Nketiah said.

WHAT NKETIAH SAID

Nketiah wasn't registered in time to play against Chelsea this weekend so will have to time until after the international break to make his Palace debut.
