WHAT MARY EARPS SAID

<p>England are trying to defend their European title ahead of the 2025 Euros but their qualifying campaign got off to a stuttering start. While Sweden are ranked sixth in the world, this was a disjointed performance from the Lionesses and they will need to improve if they want to qualify for next year's championship.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>England round off this international break with a trip to Dublin to take on the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday in their next qualifier. Wiegman's team also face the French, who are ranked fourth in the world, in their qualifying group.</p>
