Bellingham, the younger brother of Real Madrid star Jude, only joined Sunderland from Birmingham last summer but has impressed in his debut season in the Championship, scoring seven goals in 45 league appearances.

Bellingham is recognised as an attacking midfielder but played as more of a centre-forward at times this season for the Black Cats.
