<p>Napoli swept Como aside as McTominay, Lukaku and David Neres continued their redemption arcs under Antonio Conte. The former United players were reunited this summer with <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/romelu-lukuaku-finally-on-the-move-napoli-make-new-and-improved-offer-for-chelsea-striker/blte8d3214ba6b38f38" target="_blank">Lukaku joining from Chelsea</a> and McTominay from the Red Devils, and the former is relishing the chance to play together again.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Lukaku provided the assist for McTominay's opener and he praised the midfielder, <a href="https://sport.sky.it/calcio/serie-a/2024/10/04/napoli-como-lukaku-mctominay-intervista-video" target="_blank">saying to <em>Sky Italia</em></a>: "He knows my game, we played together in Manchester for two years. I know his ability in front of goal is lethal, we expect many goals and assists from him. He is doing very well and must continue like this."</p>

Conte's deployment of the Scottish midfielder in a more advanced role seeks to make the most of his late runs into the box and finishing ability.
