Gio Reyna's future in Germany with Borussia Dortmund is still uncertain. Reyna's career-high season for matches played was in 2020-21 as a teenager. Since, he hasn't logged more than 30 matches in a single campaign, with the 23-24 season being the least since his debut season in 2019-20. He made just 24 total appearances across his loan spell with Forest and the first half of the campaign with BVB.
