    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Crystal Palace are now close to agreeing a deal with Arsenal for Nketiah for a reported fee of £25 million ($33m) plus £5m ($6.6m) in add-ons, The Athleticreports. Nketiah is expected to accept the move as per the report and the deal is expected to go through smoothly.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Crystal Palace saw experienced striker Jordan Ayew join Leicester City, leaving them with only two strikers in their squad in the form of Jean-Philippe Mateta and the out-of-favour Odsonne Edouard. As such, it is possible that Nketiah would move into the number nine spot straightaway for manager Oliver Glasner.
