WHAT HAPPENED?

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Eidevall said of Williamson: "She is progressing really well. It’s a muscle injury so we need to be cautious and take every step but she is progressing well and she is very much in contention for Sunday."[Pelova is] very much in the same position as Leah Williamson, that she’s progressing really well and is very much in contention for Sunday. WHAT EIDEVALL SAID

Canada pair D'Angelo and Lacasse are preparing for a quarter-final clash with Costa Rica this weekend while Fox and the United States women's national team will take on Colombia in the last eight.
