<p>Zirkzee made an immediate impact upon his arrival at Old Trafford, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/couldn-t-be-better-joshua-zirkzee-reacts-dream-man-utd-debut-fulham/bltaa0bb5fbca857c30" target="_blank">scoring on his debut</a> in the 1-0 win over Fulham back in August. It's <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/ruud-van-nistelrooy-defends-man-utd-78m-summer-signings-manuel-ugarte-joshua-zirkzee/blt6d56e2c3c316364b" target="_blank">been a struggle since then</a>, though, with the 23-year-old failing to add to his tally. Indeed, Zirkzee hasn't started a Premier League game for United since the end of September, and rumours surrounding his future <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/joshua-zirkzee-transfer-stance-revealed-forward-criticism-man-utd-bologna-switch/blt21ee9237e6397669" target="_blank">have begun to emerge</a>. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>It was reported earlier this month that Serie A giants <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-ditch-joshua-zirkzee-european-giant-could-sign-january-reunite-dutch-striker-manager-worked-before/blt0c4b073eca846819" target="_blank">Juventus are considering a move</a> for the Dutch forward, and this has been corroborated by <a href="https://www.corrieredellosport.it/news/calcio/calcio-mercato/juventus/2024/11/26-135762241/thiago_motta_all_erta_su_zirkzee_il_manchester_united_dubita_juve_alla_finestra" target="_blank"><em>Corriere dello Sport</em></a>. They claim Zirkzee's agent, Kia Joorabchian, is in talks with Juve director Cristiano Giuntoli over a potential move as the Old Lady seek attacking reinforcements.</p>

<p>It's also reported that the Red Devils are 'aware' that <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/joshua-zirkzee-man-utd-bologna-gbp36m-transfer-old-trafford-ineos/blt7ea32762eb03c836" target="_blank">their £36.5 million (€43.7m/$45.8m) investment in Zirkzee</a> hasn't paid off. INEOS certainly will have expected more than just one goal and two assists from the attacker - although the blame for his signing <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/erik-ten-hag-didnt-want-joshua-zirkzee-man-utd-36m-transfer-bologna-furious-striker-arrived-old-trafford-overweight/blt08ca3616554dd01b" target="_blank">can't be placed at the feet of ex-boss Erik ten Hag</a>.</p>
