As such, <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/football/article/2024/may/27/manchester-united-sound-out-roberto-de-zerbi-about-becoming-new-manager?CMP=share_btn_url" target="_blank">The Guardian</a> has reported that the Red Devils' co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe admires De Zerbi's footballing principles and is a fan of his success at Brighton. He would like the club to go after the former Seagulls boss if Ten Hag is shown the door this summer.

Chelsea are also looking for a new manager this summer after they parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino after a less-than-optimal season. Their search for a manager has also led them to De Zerbi according to<a href="https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/roberto-de-zerbi-next-chelsea-manager-three-candidates-3076582?ito=twitter_share_article-top" target="_blank"> iNews</a>, alongside two other managers in the form of Leicester's Enzo Maresca and Ipswich's Kieran McKenna.

Similar to Chelsea, Man Utd have also shown a lot of interest in McKenna for a summer move and it has been claimed that <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-in/lists/kieran-mckenna-ipswich-erik-ten-hag-sacking-man-utd-chelsea-brighton/bltbaec51b82261d984" target="_blank">the 38-year-old's preferred move would be to Old Trafford</a> and that the Man Utd hierarchy is aware and looking into his situation as well.
