<p>Sanchez famously managed to grab a photo with Morgan back in 2014, before she turned pro, and posted it on social media with the message "best day of my life." The winger has gone on to enjoy an impressive career and has since linked up with Morgan at the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/san-diego-wave-houston-dash-maria-sanchez-blockbuster-nwsl-trade/bltfc58ce6214e15659" target="_blank">San Diego Wave in a blockbuster trade back in April</a>. </p><p></p>

<p>The NWSL season is currently on hold due to the Summer Olympics, with San Diego Wave down in 10th place in the standings.
