FC Goa, on Monday, have announced the capture of former Barcelona B captain Sergio Juste Marin, or simply 'Chechi', for the fourth edition of the Indian Super League (ISL).
The Catalonia international is a central defender who can also be deployed in the right back position, making him a quite versatile option in the Gaurs' backline.
Chechi started his youth career at Barcelona and went on to captain the Barcelona B team in his senior playing career, sandwiched by spells at Gimnàstic de Tarragona and CE L'Hospitalet before and after respectively before joining the ISL bandwagon.
He becomes the second La Masia product player to join the club after Jofre González Mateu. FC Goa's last foreign recruit was confirmed with the signing of Moroccan midfielder Ahmed Jahouh earlier this month. The rest of the foreigners at the club are Bruno Pinheiro, Ferran Corominas and Manuel Arana Rodríguez.
