Veteran goalkeeper Oscar "El Conejo" Perez helped Pachuca to a title last tournament, but he's made that task a little more difficult this time around.
In the first half of the Tuzos' quarterfinal against Necaxa, the goalkeeper had a clean read on a long shot from Fernando Gallegos. The 43-year-old looked to have it totally under control, but after palming the ball down Perez could only watch as it went off his legs and into his own net for the opening goal.
Pachuca found an equalizer, but Perez was beaten again (this time by a more traditional shot from Claudio Riano) as the home side took a 2-1 victory.
Perez and Pachuca host the second leg Sunday.
