Bayern Munich unveil vibrant special edition shirt to mark 50 years of Olympiastadion

Bayern Munich has released a colourful new kit to honour the 50th anniversary of their old home, the Munich Olympiastadion. The bright orange, lavender and teal hues are inspired by the vibrant accents from the surroundings of the venue, which was their home from 1972 until 2005.

The front of the jersey features the unmistakable tented roof of the stadium, which has become a world-famous Munich landmark in its own right. On the back of the shirt, the year 1972 is shown to commemorate the year the stadium was opened. Both the adidas logo and club crest are centred on the shirt for a stylish finish.

Finally, there's another special design point, which is the back number. It depicts the Olympic Park map and is exclusively available with the anniversary jersey.
