WHAT GUARDIOLA SAID

<p>De Bruyne may actually leave City before the end of the summer transfer window. Reports suggest he <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/haaland-midfielder-kevin-de-bruyne-shows-off-bold-new-haircut-manchester-city-returns-training/blt7735b983cd4b3222#cs7a2c4571cd7010b2" target="_blank">has agreed terms with Al-Ittihad over a move to Saudi Arabia</a>, although there is no agreement over a fee as yet and Guardiola has expressed his desire for the 33-year-old to stay put.</p>

<p>City face Manchester United in the Community Shield this weekend. They will begin their Premier League campaign with a trip to Chelsea on August 18.</p>
