<p>Caicedo arrived for a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/moises-caicedo-chelsea-confirm-gbp115m-signing-midfielder-brighton/blt29e83387bde96d7c" target="_blank">British transfer fee record</a> last August but has largely been a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/most-disappointing-signings-2023-24-premier-league-season-ranked/blt4708928d8f781abc" target="_blank">shadow of the player he was at Brighton compared to Chelsea</a>. The 22-year-old produced a catalogue of errors in the first half of the season and repeatedly looked off the pace, while forming part of a dysfunctional Blues midfield. However, he has finally found his feet at Stamford Bridge and this goal shows he is recapturing his former swagger. The 2024-25 Caicedo could be a force to be reckoned with.</p>
