As all clubs play their final game of the season simultaneously, the Merseyside team felt that the attention of the audience would be divided. To avoid such a situation, they would now play their final game at their beloved home ground on May 18 against Southampton and the club are making efforts to ensure that it remains a standalone fixture.<a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/another-year-goodison-park-everton-stay-at-beloved-stadium-move-new-home-delayed/blt7dd9c7a63422ef11" target="_blank">Everton will shift their base to Bramley-Moore Dock</a> at the end of the 2024-25 season bidding goodbye to the 131-year-old Goodison Park.
