<p><a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/mason-greenwood-hat-trick-marseille-penalty-elye-wahi-ligue-1/bltf386bcadf6364dd3" target="_blank">Greenwood scored twice in his Ligue 1 debut as Marseille</a> beat Brest 5-1 in their opening game of the season and his effort this week took his tally up to three goals from just two matches. THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>The 22-year-old, who faced charges of attempted rape, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and controlling and coercive behaviour before they were dropped in February last year, is off to a good start in Ligue 1 after <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/mason-greenwood-man-utd-permanent-transfer-marseille-fans-mayor-protest/bltc7de013950f3f4f3" target="_blank">Marseille signed him from Manchester United in a €30 million (£25m/$34m) deal</a>. </p>
