In doing so, Muller brought up his 710th appearance for the club - making him the outright record appearance holder. WHAT HARRY KANE SAID

<p>Muller is a Bayern legend. He has had 17 seasons there, is a record 12-time Bundesliga winner, and has won a whopping 32 trophies with the club. Plus, he is still only 35, so there could yet be more success to come for the one-club man.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>After the international break, which runs over the next fortnight, Kane and Muller will return to action for Bayern in the Bundesliga away to Holstein Kiel on September 14.</p>
